American Heretics: The Politics of the Gospel (NR) Starts Monday 10/21
Mon (10/21): 7:00 PM

Leading historical, religious and constitutional experts, such as Reverend Robin Meyers, Dr. Bernard Brandon Scott, Dr. Robert Jones, Oklahoma State Rep Collin R. Walke, former Southern Baptist turned progressive faith minister Reverend Lori Walke and the Reverend Bishop Carlton Pearson, whose dramatic fall from grace with Oral Roberts was chronicled in Ira Glassís This American Life, and later turned into the feature film Come Sunday, which premiered at Sundance in 2018. American Heretics: The Politics of the Gospel also brings a compelling perspective into how the conservative Christian agenda emerged over the last 30 years to become a powerful and divisive force in todayís political landscape.
